    We are currently seeking a District Manager to direct all the operational activities of a designated district, averaging 13 stores. The position reports directly to the Regional Director of Operations.  The District Manager is responsible for the management and control of company assets, as well as the management and development of associates for future growth.  Directs, plans, develops and implements the activities of the area with full profit and loss responsibility. Regularly, uses independent discretion and judgment regarding all facets of the area’s operations. Manages the area’s annual operating budget. Sets the direction of work for the area and is responsible for the quality, timeliness, accuracy of work and performance.

    Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

    Primary Functions Required

    • Area Leadership – directing daily operations and oversight of associate development
    • Area Budget Management: profit and loss, and financial analysis and reporting
    • Maximize return on investment; cost management and shrinkage control
    • Company Policies and Procedures Implementation


    Critical Tasks

    • Drives the business by directing, planning, developing and implementing the activities of an area ensuring the focus reflects the Region’s strategic direction.
    • Develop and maintain programs for recruitment, training, motivation and discipline of Store Managers and hourly personnel to ensure excellence of store operations and supervisory skills as well as to provide a basis for potential field management personnel.
    • Evaluates area and store business results. Supervise all the activities of the store management and hourly personnel in the use of company policies and achieve maximum sales and profits within the district. Mentors Store Managers through P & L reviews on-the-job training and performance management.
    • Communicates issues openly (upward and downward) to ensure results are known solutions to address issues are developed and implemented.
    • Oversees staffing and retention on a weekly basis; projects future needs.
    • Ensures appropriate customer service principles are communicated and practiced.
    • Acts within scope of Company objectives and policies to accomplish assigned goals.
    • Manages to the area’s annual operating budget.

    • 5-7 years of previous experience as a District Manager in multi-unit management within a specialty retail, mall or kiosk based environment.
    • Ability to travel as needed.
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
